19 Year-Old Randall County Inmate Commits Suicide Inside Of His Cell

A 19 year-old inmate at Randall County was found dead inside of his cell on Saturday.

Brandon Lee Bellinghausen, 19, of Amarillo was found dead inside of his cell at the Randall County Jail on Saturday night.

An autopsy was ordered and the cause of death was suicide by hanging. The incident is still under investigation by Randall County officials.

Bellinghausen was moved to his cell by himself after he and another inmate were involved in a fight, he was not on suicide watch according to officials. If he was, he would be checked on every 15 minutes.
