Firework Fails to Avoid This 4th of July In Amarillo

Every year millions of people go out and buy fireworks to celebrate the 4th of July.  Every year thousands end up in the hospital with injuries or catch something on fire.  We want to help you avoid any damage to yourself or others.  Here are few things NOT to do this 4th of July. :)

Safety is very important when dealing with fireworks.  Unfortunately, there are many people out there who have great ideas that really aren't that great.  Watch these videos and DO NOT try this at home.

Fireworks in a confined space

Always make sure that fireworks are not lite around dry grass and weeds because fires can start easily.

Never make homemade fireworks!!

Although it may be funny, your wife may not appreciate it.

And never try to light a firework while holding it in your hand.  While there are many videos of 'firework wars,' that can be very dangerous and could really hurt someone.  Remember to always be safe and and watch your children around fireworks.
