Living in Amarillo has its ups and downs, and like most cities we have drugs, murders, and criminal activity though out the city everyday. Ciudad Juarez is one of the worse places to be with all the murders that happen from the Mexico Drug War. Well, on the other side of the border is the safest city in here America. El Paso, Texas has a really low murder rate. Is this possible? Two cities about 500 feet away from each other one being the most dangerous and one being the safest.

Charlie Minn the director of his third movie Murder Capital of the World gets a in-dept look on the ongoing drug war in Mexico. A clip from his movie has an actual shooting happening right outside a kindergarten classroom with these small kids on the floor with their teacher talking to them trying to keep them calm.

Well not much of the war is talked about here in the panhandle maybe, because were far from the border or that its not so interesting to some people, but for whatever the reason it is its a huge issue. You can't say it wont happen here with people murdering innocent people and even kids therefore it can. Charlie Minn wants people to knows how dangerous this drug war is and to open a few eyes. So he is bringing his movie right here to the United Artist Amarillo this Friday September 7th for one week showing.
