A Jet Makes An Unscheduled Landing At Rick Husband International Airport In Amarillo

Another jet is forced to make an unscheduled stop in Amarillo for problems on-board.

It seems to happening a lot lately. Amarillo is not known for making national news as much as it has been lately. On Wednesday another plane was diverted to make an emergency landing in Amarillo.

United Express Flight 4423 was forced to make an unscheduled emergency landing at Rick Husband International Airport. Rick Husband International Airport was notified of the emergency landing just 7 minutes before it arrived.

A pressurization issue inside of the cabin caused the emergency landing. The plane landed just after 1:30pm on Wednesday with 45 on board. Luckily, no one was injured.
