The Super Bowl is over and done, and next is the XXII Olympic Winter Games. The United States will be bringing 230 athletes to the Sochi, Russia the largest set of Athletes ever to compete for any country at the Winter Olympic Games. The previous record was 216 by the U.S. in 2010 at the Winter games in Vancouver.

106 returning Olympians, have won 49 medals, 13 of them gold in the past. Short-track speedskater Apolo Anton Ohno is the most decorated U.S. Winter Olympian. Snowboarder Shaun White and speedskater Shani Davis could become the first American men to win gold in the same event in three straight Winter Games.

Two women's bobsled push athletes, hurdler Lolo Jones and sprinter Lauryn Williams, became the ninth and 10th Americans to compete at both the Winter and Summer Olympics.The oldest member of team USA is 46-year-old curler Ann Swishelm while the youngest is 15-year-old freestyle skier Maggie Voisin.
