Amarillo Is Going To Be Part Of a New Movie!

Growing up I always wanted to be part of a movie or even Amarillo to be the setting of a movie, and now here is the chance we have been all waiting for. Little old Amarillo is on the way to the big screen.

This fall, sometime in September, is when the team of "Cottonwood" is set to begin filming. The movie is based in the 1930's on one influential man that starts to pave a road toward acceptance during the dust bowl era. Country music superstar Willie Nelson is set to be starring in the movie along with Anthony Michael Hall, Academy Award-winning actor Louis Gossett Jr., and Aerosmith’s

With the story and cast it looks like it going to be a great movie when its all said and done. Not to mention being filmed here in the Texas Panhandle makes it even better. Amarillo is on the way to the national level in movies.
