Amarillo Parks and Recreation Opening Up Splash Pads

It is no secret that it has been super hot lately.  We have even reached temperatures into the 90s.  Amarillo Parks and Recreation is offering some relief by opening up their splash pads at several different parks. 

Amarillo Parks and Recreation has some relief on the way.  Nine different parks here in Amarillo have an area that contains a splash pad.  These are small pools of water that kids can come play in and cool off.

They will be opened up this weekend.  May 26th will be the first day that you can come cool off.  For locations and hours stop by amarilloparks.org.

Nothing is better on a hot day than splashing around in some cool water.
