The Walmart on Georgia has been evacuated and police are asking the people of Amarillo to avoid the area.

Police are currently investigating what they are calling a "non-credible threat." Apparently, a bomb threat was called into Walmart earlier today. The caller gave Walmart officials 30 minutes to clear the store and they were immediately evacuated.

The Amarillo Police Department and Randall County Sheriff's Office have been at the scene. According to officials, no explosive devices have been found.

This is the same Walmart where a shooting scare happened last month. An angry employee brought a gun to the location and held hostages until he was shot and killed by police.

This story will be updated as more information becomes available.

Remember to please avoid the area around Georgia and I-27.

UPDATE: The police cleared the scene. Walmart will be open to the public as soon as possible.
