Amarillo Zoo Has Opened Enrollment For Summer Camps

Are your kids ready to have some wild fun?

The Amarillo Zoo is now accepting applications for the 2016 Summer Zoofari Camp! If you have a child between the ages of 6 to 12,get them interested in making summer memories with some furry friends.

Starting the week of June 13th, the Amarillo Zoo will be offering nine weeks of different educational summer camps for kids, like "Junior Zookeeper" and "Animal Play Days". All camps will have arts and crafts, outdoor games, and behind-the-scene tours.

June 13th-17th: Animal Play Days (ages 6-8)

June 20th-24th: Junior ZooKeeper (ages 9-12)

June 27th-July1st: Cafe Zoo (ages 6-8)

July 11th-15h: Going For Old: Animal Athletes (ages 9-12)

July 18th-22: Junior ZooKeeper (ages 9-12)

July 25th-29th: Slimy, Scaly, Creepy, Crawly (ages 9-12)

August 1st-5th:  Animal Play Days (ages 6-8)

August 8th-12th:  Junior ZooKeeper (ages 9-12)

August 15th-19th: Cafe Zoo (ages 6-8)
