If you love comedy like I do, then you are familiar with one of the "greats" of the business, Andy Kaufman. He reportedly died in 1984 due to a rare form of lung cancer. Well, his brother and a woman who says she is his 24 year old daughter claim otherwise.

If you know anything about Andy Kaufman, then you know he is famous for playing elaborate pranks on people. Sometimes the pranks were so real and lifelike that people could not tell the difference. Could this be one of those pranks? Is Andy still alive or is this an elaborate prank in the comedians honor staged by his brother (and who knows, maybe Andy before he died).

Andy's brother claimed that he received a letter from his brother in 1999 and shortly after brings Andy's 24 year old "daughter" on stage to share some information with an audience of people attending an awards show in his honor. She elaborates on the fact that Andy even said that he wanted to show up to the event and watches YouTube religiously.

I, personally feel that the woman on stage seems a little "stagey" and almost too "Andy Kaufman". I know that people pick up traits from their parents, but this seems to be almost "overacting" in my opinion. Granted, if Andy Kaufman were still alive, it would make for the greatest prank in history.

Comedianne Killy Dwyer wrote on her facebook page that it was,  “It was chilling, upsetting and absolutely intriguing.”
