In a recent game between the Atlanta Braves and the NY Mets, Jason Heyward was hit in the jaw by a 90 mph fastball which left him with a broken jaw.

Some people say that baseball is not a contact sport, but I beg to differ. Not only can you plow over the catcher when coming in to score, but you also have a pitcher throwing up to 100 mph balls directly at you. It just takes one small mistake and it ends like this.
