BREAKING NEWS: Former NFL Superstar Jr. Seau Dead At 43, Officials Think It Was Suicide

Former NFL Superstar Jr. Seau was found dead inside of his home with a gunshot wound to his chest.

Jr. Seau, 43, died Wednesday by a gunshot wound to his chest.  Emergency Officials received a call from his girlfriend and responded to his home. Emergency officials found a gun laying next to Seau's body and think it was suicide.

Police are still investigating but at the moment think no foul play was involved. Back in 2010 Seau drove his car down a 100 ft cliff in what some think was a suicide attempt. Seau said he just fell asleep behind the wheel.

Back in 2011 another former NFL superstar shot himself in the chest, on his suicide letter the player said he wanted his brain donated for medical research because of the injuries he took to his head while he played football. Some are speculating that Seau could have had some of the same problems which caused him to commit suicide.

Players, coaches, team owners and fans have been deeply saddened by the tragic news of Seau's death saying he was one of the best to ever play the game. He was very involved with the community, 20 years ago he started the Jr. Seau foundation.
