Charles Kelley's son Ward is just 2 years old, but he's already training for life on the road. Based on this adorable Instagram video, he looks fully capable of the task!

It appears the Lady Antebellum singer is looking for another set of hands to help him with his gear while on tour, and it's safe to say he'll have the cutest roadie on the crew.

In the video, little Ward scurries along with a pint-sized guitar case in hand as his dad follows him around the house with the camera, offering some positive reinforcement. Ward is a great little helper, having no trouble getting his guitar from Point A to Point B—and at rapid speed, might we add.

The toddler is cute as can be carrying his mini-guitar through the house, perfectly placing it next to his dad's guitar in the music room. "I'm gonna take a nap," Ward says as he runs out of the room after doing a stellar job of transporting the instrument. Hey, you've earned it, bud!

Kelley will definitely need the help this summer as he and fellow Lady A singers Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood gear up for a four month tour with Darius Rucker on the co-headlining 2018 Summer Plays on Tour. The two acts take over several major cities in the U.S. and Canada from July through October.

“For us as a band, being out on the road together is where it all comes to life," Kelley says of the event in a press release. "Darius is one of our closest friends, and so we just feel really excited to get to share this tour and those memories on and off stage with him."
