Clint Black was born February 4th, 1962 in Long Branch, New Jersey. Although the Jersey native was raised in Houston, Texas.
Growing up Black was influenced by Country legends that include George Jones and Dire Straits.
Black would drop out of school and work as a fishing guide and iron worker during the day, then make his way to local bars at night to play music.
