Worlds Largest Free BBQ Being Served This Weekend At The 75th Annual XIT Rodeo & Reunion In Dalhart

It's the 75th Annual XIT Rodeo and Reunion this weekend in Dalhart.  Along with the wild cow milking and barrel racing action, the folks in Dalhart are offering the world's largest free barbeque.  While you're enjoying a generous  slice of watermelon and a Texas-size pork chop, enjoy the music of No Justice tonight and Roger Creager tomorrow night.  Tickets for the concerts are $10.00 each.

The XIT Rodeo and Reunion has its root in the settling of this part of Texas.  At one time, it covered the entire western border to New Mexico and stretched out across 10 counties. For 75 years, families and friends of the cowboys that worked the XIT ranch come together and celebrate the legacy of  those hard working cowboys who worked the land for generations.  So, cowboy up and celebrate the great American cowboy-Texas style this weekend in Dalhart, Texas, home of the 75th Annual XIT Rodeo and Reunion.
