So, the Simpsons maybe cancelled because the actors who voice the beloved animated family of Homer, Marge, Lisa, Bart and Maggie refuse to take a 45% pay cut.  Let's see, each actor earns about $8 million dollars a year for 22 weeks of work and the studio is asking if they'd take $4 million each instead. The actors say they would take the cut if they could receive compensation through other revenues-in other words-nobody's going to budge on the budget.  So the fate of the Simpsons future rests on all parties to negotiate and compromise on how who gets the most 'd-oh'.

I haven't watched the show for years and maybe 23 years of the Simpsons is enough.  What do you think?  Who's side are you on?
