Pumpkin Spice takes over the world come Fall. It's everywhere and in everything.  It's insane.  However, have you noticed that pickle is slowly taking it over the world.

Pickle is now giving pumpkin spice a run for its money.

Dill Pickle this and that is everywhere.

Now don't get me wrong, I am an avid fan of Dill Pickle.  I love pickles, I enjoy pickle popsicles and snocones.   I love, love, love Dill Pickle sunflower seeds.

But...it's starting to go too far.

Take for instance, this horror popped up on my Facebook feed this morning.

Sonic announced it would be selling Pickle Juice slushes starting in June and I was super excited until the word sweet popped into the description.  Pickle Juice and sweet do not go together unless you are talking about sweet pickles.  It's supposed to be a dill pickle slush and they are ruining it with sweet.

How about Dill Pickle Soup?  I have had this recipe saved for over a year and I have yet to make it, I'm afraid of it.

Then the Texas Rangers stepped in and took the pickle craze to a new high. When I saw the Dilly Dog, I realized that this monstrocity will be the downfall. It's a dill pickle corndog hybrid.

With this craze continuing I'm afraid I may start to hate pickle. I used to love pumpkin spice, but it lost control and now I can't stand it.

Please stop trying to kill Dill Pickle for me.
