No matter your circumstances, no one should be alone for the holidays, especially on Christmas Day. The Salvation Army invites the Amarillo community to join them for Christmas dinner on Monday, December 25, 2017. They will serve a restaurant style dining atmosphere complete with hostesses, a sit-down dinner, servers, and great table conversation. Dinner will take place from 12:00pm – 2:00pm at The Salvation Army, 400 S. Harrison Street, Amarillo (Enter at 5th and Harrison door).

The Salvation Army is also looking for help to put together this great holiday tradition. They are in need of home baked desserts to serve about 400 people. On Christmas Day they'd love for those who dine to have options just as most of us do in our own homes during the holidays. If you can’t give of your time that day maybe you can help out by baking a dessert! They would like to have all desserts turned in by Sunday December 24, 2017 (Thursday and Friday from 8:30am–5:00pm at the front office/Saturday & Sunday please drop off desserts to the Women and Family Shelter after 5:00pm).
