It's always nice to go and spend time looking at arts and crafts but it's even better when it is for a good cause.  Dumas is gearing up for their annual Arts and Crafts Festival benefiting the Texas Lions Camp.

On October 6th and 7th, the Lions Club will be hosting its annual Arts and Crafts Festival in Dumas.  There will be plenty of homemade crafts for sale.  Everything from crocheting to needlework to artwork.

Lunch will also be served.  And on Sunday you will get to enjoy a car show.  And the best part is that it is all for a good cause.

The proceeds go to benefit the Texas Lions Camp.  This is a camp for children with disabilities, cancer, diabetes, or down syndrome.  This camp is always free for the kids to attend and it allows them to learn the 'can do' philosophy.

This is a great opportunity for these kids.  So if you are looking for something to do and help out a great cause make your way to the Moore County Community Building  October 6th and 7th.
