Yes, Facebook is always changing things. Most recently, people have been posting about Facebook's new privacy changes. They are saying that you need to copy and paste the following verbiage into your status to stop Facebook from using your information, photos, and posts for any purpose they see fit.

Once you click "agree" on Facebook's terms and conditions when signing up for the social network, they are free to do anything that is outlined in those terms. Like most people, we click "yes I agree" and move on and start connecting with our friends, families, and favorite brands.

Great idea, but a total hoax.

Posting the follow does not change or, more importantly, make Facebook responsible for the use of your information for any purposes outlined in the terms that you have already agreed to when creating your profile. But, it sure does get people fired up.

Here is the information people are posting in their status:

As of January 4th, 2015 at 12:27 a.m. Eastern standard time, I do not give Facebook or any entities associated with Facebook permission to use my pictures, information, or posts, both past and future. By this statement, I give notice to Facebook it is strictly forbidden to disclose, copy, distribute, or take any other action against me based on this profile and/or its contents. The content of this profile is private and confidential information. The violation of privacy can be punished by law (UCC 1-308- 1 1 308-103 and the Rome Statute). NOTE: Facebook is now a public entity.
