Food Drive Benefits The InterFaith Hunger Project

Did you know that Texas ranks as one of the worst in senior citizen hunger. More than 18 percent of senior citizens 55 years or older go without food in the state of Texas.

That is why the InterFaith Hunger Project or IFHP, a program provider for United Way of Amarillo/Canyon, provides a free monthly supply of healthy, nutritious food for those living on a fixed income both senior citizens(age 55 or older) and the disabled.
