Even with most kids back to school, things still look a lot different than what we are used to. In fact, some students may be heading back home for distance learning soon. For many students, the meals they receive at school might be their only meal for the day. Not to mention weekends where students may not have access to any food. That is where Happy State Bank has stepped in to help make sure no kids go hungry any part of the week.

Happy State Bank in Canyon is holding "POPtober!" This is where you can help feed local kids over those long, hungry weekends. They bank has teamed up with "Snack Pak 4 Kids Canyon" to collect Pop-Tarts or monetary donations at the Canyon branch. That's right, all through the rest of October you can drop off a box of Pop-Tarts that will go to hungry kids to hold them through the weekends. Or if you want to make a monetary donation, that money will go to purchase food to be handed out.

Snack Pak 4 Kids Canyon is a non-profit program that provides food each weekend for students throughout the school year. These are students of all ages that typically don't have easy access to food when school is not in session. So grab that box of Pop-Tarts and head over to Happy State Bank in Canyon, at 1908 4th Avenue.
