Jason Aldean is already burning up the charts with his new album, 'Old Boots, New Dirt,' and he stopped by 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' to heat up the stage with 'Just Gettin' Started' on the day of its release (Oct. 7).

"Our next guest has scored two straight No. 1 albums on the Billboard Country chart," Fallon tells a cheering crowd in a clip from the show. "He deserves it. His latest album, 'Old Boots, New Dirt' was just released today. Performing his new single, 'Just Gettin' Started,' please welcome Jason Aldean."

Aldean -- who sported a short-sleeved plaid shirt, unbuttoned to show his necklace -- strummed his black acoustic guitar with his full band backing him. He brought his energy along with the new single.

'Just Gettin' Started' is somewhat of an unofficial ode to the star's status these days. With his new album, he truly is just getting started on a new path. The first single, 'Burnin' It Down,' was a sexy new sound for Aldean, and this song is yet another hit with fans.

Following the performance, Fallon walked over to shake Aldean's hand, saying, "That's the way to do it, man!" before reminding the audience that 'Old Boots, New Dirt' is now at retailers.
