Jason Aldean is known for being somewhat of a stoic personality — at least, he certainly presents a drier front on social media than his wife Brittany, who lets it all out, both good and bad, online.

However, the entertainer showed a rare vulnerable side on Wednesday (Mar. 21), congratulating his bride on three years of marriage. He posted a romantic black-and-white shot to Instagram of the pair kissing, noting, "We are stronger than ever," and adding that he loves her to pieces.

Aldean and his wife haven't had the easiest road. Their relationship has been weighted down by the gossip surrounding his former marriage — in which Aldean admitted he hadn't behaved as he should have. However, the pair have pulled through and proven naysayers wrong, given birth to son Memphis, and appear to be happier than ever.

Brittany posted her own anniversary message, which true to form is a lot more elaborate than Jason's — and is likely a lot more fun for fans to explore, since it shows off lots of intimate details of their Cancun wedding. We're still struck by how starkly romantic Jason's sentiment is, however.

Aldean barely has time for romantic gestures, as he is set to release his eighth studio album, Rearview Townon April 13. The 15-track project includes a collaboration with Miranda Lambert on "Drowns the Whiskey" and features the R&B-influenced ballad and lead single, "You Make It Easy."
