An Amarillo Federal Judge declared former JetBlue pilot competent to stand trial over emergency landing case.

Back in March a plane made an emergency landing at the Rick Husband International Airport after one of the pilots was disrupting the flight.

JetBlue Flight 191 from New York to Los Angeles was rerouted to Amarillo back in March, the plane was carrying 141 passengers plus crew members.

Reports say Pilot Clayton F. Osbon was locked out of the cockpit after the other pilots noticed he was acting strange. When Osbon returned from the bathroom he then tried to enter the cockpit and was banging on the door and yelling.

Osbon then started running down the aisle yelling about the September 11th terrorist attacks scaring the 141 passengers plus crew on board. He was the apprehended by U.S. Air Marshals and passengers. Osbon has been in custody since the indecent awaiting trial.

According to ConnectAmarillo.com "After viewing a sealed doctors report, U.S. District Judge Mary Lou Robinson declared Clayton F. Osbon, 49, presently competent to stand trial.
