Kellie Pickler Shaves Head For Breast Cancer Friend

We've seen many bald heads before, but they usually belong to men.  Well Kellie Pickler did an amazing thing and shaved her head for a friend with breast cancer.

It may seem like Pickler has gone insane, but the fact is that she done something amazing.  Kellie's best friend Summer Holt Miller, was diagnosed with breast cancer back in July.  She recently underwent a double mastectomy and will begin chemotherapy treatments this week.

Most people who are familiar with chemo know that hair loss is one of the side effects.  So in order to stand beside her friend and show support, Pickler joined her friend and shaved off her beautiful blond locks.

She wants the world to know that “Cancer does not discriminate."  Pickler and her friend Miller want to bring awareness to the fact that women need to get a mammogram before the age of 40.

Blond or bald these women still look beautiful!  What a wonderful friend.
