Nashville newcomer Lauren Riley is premiering the music video for her song “Wanted” exclusively for readers of The Boot.

In the "Wanted" video, which was filmed by Patryk Larney in Nashville over the summer, Riley shows off both her impressive pipes and her skills as a dancer, the latter in intensely emotional scenes that depict a "tumbling, tumultuous relationship;" the clip's "security blanket" analogy is powerful, offering a beautiful backdrop for Riley's soulful, rich vocals. A classically trained singer and Arizona native, Riley is currently recording her first-ever EP as a solo artist; the album will have a decidedly pop-country bent in an effort to “reach beyond the mainstream stereotype” and “create something real and raw.” "Wanted" was officially released as a single on Oct. 28, but a release date for Riley's EP has yet to be announced.

"Wanted," written by Riley, Melissa Fuller and Joel Heumann, is available for download via iTunes. Readers can keep up to date with Riley on her official website.
