Lighting up Palo Duro Canyon With The Balloon Glow

Not only Christmas lights light up houses and buildings throughout the city, but this Sunday we will also have a few hot air balloons lighting up our Texas sky.

After dark on your Sunday night a couple of local hot air balloonists will let their propane burners light the winter night sky at Palo Duro Canyon Park. Beginning at 6:30 pm down in the canyon at the Mack Dick Group Pavilion, they will be having a balloon glow for all family and friends to enjoy during the Christmas season.

Starting at 3 p.m. the entrance fee into the park will be waived, but needed donations of non-perishable food items for the High Plains Food Bank will be accepted, helping out the family's in need throughout the Panhandle.

Plus, if you want Cookies and Hot Chocolate will follow the balloon glow, so go out an enjoy with your friends and family to see the last Balloon Glow for 2012.
