A lot of musicians back in the day, and even now have amazing stories on how they were introduced to the mainstream. The same goes for this young and talented, singer, songwriter.

Born in Garden City, Missouri, Tyler Farr was introduced to music at the same time he was introduced to his license at the age of 16. He was able to travel the road with his stepfather, who played lead guitar for the legendary Country icon George Jones.

Farr wanted to make something out of his music, and just like many Country artist he moved to the city that makes dreams come true.... Nashville, Tennessee. A little hard work, time, and patience would pay off after just half a year.

You know the saying, "You start at the bottom and work your way to the top." That is literally what he had to do. Farr's first job in the new city was a bouncer at the Legendary Tootsie's Orchid Lounge, where after 5 months he was finally given the chance by the bar's management to take the stage.

While he was singing four nights a week and working security at the same time, Farr managed to make some down time for himself and meet some new friends. Rhett Akins, an award winning singer, songwriter heard some of the music Farr was making and became a fan. Leading him to the direction of being signed by a record company.

Tyler's first recording contract was with Sony Music Nashville's BNA Records. That led him to write music for Country stars such as Colt Ford, and perform with Jerrod Neiman, Lee Brice and Rodney Atkins.
