Metallica brought a little country with them when they played Nashville on Thursday night (Jan. 24). The heavy metal band added a cover of Loretta Lynn's "You're Lookin' at Country" to their setlist for their show at Bridgestone Arena.

"Now I've seen everything," Lynn writes on Facebook. "I loved it, boys! Keep rocking, and it's good by me if you do a few more of mine. Maybe I'll have to sing one with you sometime!"

"You're Lookin' at Country" is the title track of Lynn's 17th studio album. As a single, the song became a Top 5 country hit.

Metallica's stop in Nashville was part of their WorldWired Tour, which began in 2018. Lynn has been off the road and largely out of the public eye since suffering a stroke in May of 2017, followed by a broken hip due to a fall in January of 2018, though she did release a new album, Wouldn't It Be Great, in September.

In April, Bridgestone Arena will be filled with a whole night of Lynn's music, during a tribute concert in honor of Lynn's 87th birthday.
