Last season the Miami Heat made it to the NBA Finals only to be beat out by the better Dallas Mavericks. In the Heat's return this year they were not going home empty handed.

The Oklahoma City Thunder quickly won game 1 of the series in Oklahoma City, the Heat looked to be starting off slowly and analyst were predicting the Thunder would win. But after what happened last year, the Heat's star player Lebron James was not going to let it happen.

The Heat overcame the storm and beat the Thunder 121-106 in game 5 becoming the 2011-2012 NBA Champions. James finished with 26 points and 13 rebounds while DeWayne Wade added 20 points and 8 rebounds for the win.

Thunder star player Kevin Durant had 32 points and 11 rebounds, while Russel Westbrook had only 19 points and 6 assists after last game when he scored 43 points.
