Miranda Lambert Grants 6 Year Olds Request For Her To Visit A Dog Shelter In Florida [VIDEO]

Miranda Lambert has made it clear to everyone who will listen that she supports dog shelters.  Most, if not all, of her dogs have come from shelters.  That is why 6 year old Riley Weinberger made it her goal to get Lambert to visit her favorite shelter. 

Riley heard of all the great work Miranda does to make sure shelter dogs get homes.  So she made it her mission to get Lambert to visit.  With the help of many adults, Riley made a video, did radio interviews, a TV interview and even posted billboards around town inviting Lambert to visit.

Riley is a big volunteer at the Big Dog Ranch Rescue in Wellington, FL and wanted the country start to visit and help get the word out about the dogs in the shelter.  All her hard work paid off.  Miranda was in town for a show and paid the shelter a visit before taking the stage.  She even picked out a dog to take home.

She then posted a picture on Twitter and wrote:

"I visited Big Dog Ranch Rescue today in West Palm Beach. Amazing place & great people helping so many dogs in need"
