An Amber Alert was issued last week for Leah Aguirre, a missing toddler out of Crosbyton, TX. FBI officials have confirmed she has been found dead.

Crosbyton Police Chief Greg Parrot confirmed to Lubbock's KCBD on Thursday at 3:38pm that FBI officials have found the dead body of missing 2-year old Leah Marie Aguirre, according to KCBD.com.

The body of the 2-year old toddler was found behind the house of Matilda Almaraz, Aguirre's caretaker at the time of her disappearance. Police are still investigating, and at this time no arrests have been made.

Leah Marie Aguirre, 2, was last seen on Jan, 8th. The FBI, Texas Rangers and the Crosbyton police were called in to investigate her disappearance after reports were made that a man named 'Miguel' went to the Almaraz house and posed as a CPS official and took the child.
