Morgan Evans shows what it means to be an "American" in the video for his new song.

As a native Australian, Evans is still learning about the U.S., and he gets a sampler as he travels across the country on his 10 in 10 Tour. The run took him  to 10 cities in 10 consecutive days, hitting Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, Dallas and more.

"American" feels like his personal anthem, chronicling his life in America with shots of him singing on an airplane, meeting and performing with fans and soaking in the natural beauty of the landscapes around him. Evans uses the distinct features of several U.S. regions to compare to his love (wife Kelsea Ballerini), with lyrics that compare her golden hair to the Kansas wheat fields, dance moves like that of New Orleans' famous Bourbon Street and her beauty to that of the red sunsets in California.

Kelsea Ballerini Once Dated Who?!

"She's American / Making my world better than it's ever been / One part Norma Jean and one part Marilyn / She's making me fall in love with everything American," he sings in the chorus. The video captures the amazing sights Evans has taken in, like walking along the Hollywood Walk of Fame, surfing in the ocean and soaking in the New York City skyline.

Born and raised in New South Wales, Australia, Evans experienced notable success as a country artist Down Under, scoring the title of Oz Artist of the Year at the 2014 CMC Music Awards. He was also named the 2016 CMA Global Artist of the Year, after he moved to Nashville in 2015.

Evans' current radio single "Kiss Somebody" sits inside the Top 20 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. He and Ballerini wed in a beachside ceremony in Mexico in December of 2017, and he wrote a song for her titled "I Do."
