Port Aransas Bans Alcohol During Spring Break [POLL]

Aaahhh spring break. Weather starts getting warmer, all your friends are out of school. It's almost like a little summer crammed in to one week.

So, its easy to see how the sun can go to your head.Port Aransas won the silver medal in the "Ten Places In Texas To Party For Spring Break" list from www.houstonpress.com. 

Their description of Port Aransas: "manages to rival some of its beach brethren for the top Texas beach spot, but it's not quite there yet in terms of good ol' skanky fun."

If you ask Port A Mayor Keith McMullin, he hopes to never achieve that.

This week, the city council voted unanimously to ban drinking on all city beaches from midnight-7am during Spring Break.
