Randy Travis Arrested For Public Intox Outside A Church In Dallas, Texas

It looks like Randy Travis might be singin' the blues instead of singing for a sold out show. The country mega-superstar was arrested for public intoxication in Dallas, Texas.

According to the police department in Sanger Texas, a report was called in about a suspicious man at a church. Officers arrived on location only to find Randy Travis with an open bottle of wine.

After his release, sources say that Travis has stated that he was fighting with his girlfriend. Officers say that when they approached the vehicle, they could not help but notice that Randy reeked of booze.

The arresting officer says Randy tried to explain the fight with his girlfriend ... but "Mr. Travis' speech was slurred and I was beginning to have a hard time understanding what he was saying."

As Randy exited the vehicle he stumbled quite heavily which prompted the arrest from the officers on the scene.
