Most celebrities aren't born as a celebrity.  They have to pay dues and earn their way into the business.  Rodney Atkins gives a little insight into what he did before his career took off.

When it comes to country artist I always think of them as hard workers and Rodney Atkins proves that.  Before he became a huge country star he had various different jobs.

His very first job began at home.  He began cutting firewood and kindling around his house.  he then began mowing the yard and other people’s yards. That lead him to  mowing cemeteries.

Atkins though mowing cemeteries was a pretty good deal cause he got paid $10 per grave.  He also hauled hay.  So he didn't just have one first job, he had many.  And then of course he became an awesome country star.

It is always cool to see what your favorite artists did before they made it big.  What was your first job?
