Summer is here, and so is Scotty McCreery's feel-good 'Feelin' It' video.

During CMA Fest 2014, McCreery made it clear he was getting ready to head to some beach, somewhere to shoot his video. He was vague on details, but now word has gotten out that the video shoot took place in the singer's home state of North Carolina. McCreery hit the beach in Outer Banks for what looked like a pretty fun video shoot with his good buddies.

McCreery's even got a lucky lady on his arm in the clip. They get a little close while enjoying the sights and sounds of the North Carolina beach with their pals. The 'Idol' star's video epitomizes sun and summer, especially when he's on the beach road with his friends driving in his Jeep.

The singer stands in ankle-high water and sings the 'Feelin' It' lyrics looking beach ready. For part of the video, he dons khaki shorts that he's not afraid to get a little wet. When he's done singing, he brings his friends along for a ride to Dune Burger where they indulge in summer's best treat: a nice cold ice cream cone.

It becomes a beach party when McCreery busts out the guitar and plays a little for his friends. They sway and smile as he serenades them with 'Feelin' It.' The fun doesn't stop there, though. There's lots more swimming and kayaking to come for this gang. The video ends with McCreery walking hand-in-hand with his love interest as the waves crash.
