These storms are expected to bring heavy rain, strong winds and hail, to the areas near the Oklahoma-Texas state lines moving north. Tornadoes could be likely with this storm system into the later hours of the night. The Wednesday Storm is expected to move across, and affect Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri and other parts of the Plains on into the weekend.

The Amarillo area are clear west from this storm so we should be safe tonight. The storm season has begun with a bang, but it is that time of the year where severe weather can be dangerous at anytime of the day. You need to be prepared to keep your family safe, during any kind of severe weather happening in our area.

Tonight the Amarillo area are in Freeze Watch from 12am untill 11am Thurs.
