The NHL's Arizona Coyotes saved the season's best moment for the last game.

Prior to the Coyotes' final game of the season over the weekend, Army Sergeant Dan Urman came on the ice just as his parents were set to drop the ceremonial first puck. The family had no idea he was coming back from Afghanistan. The reaction from Urman's parents is the kind of stuff that will give you goosebumps.

The Coyotes slogged through an awful season on the ice and failed to make the playoffs, but we'd bet their fans still managed to go home with a smile after seeing this touching display.

The surprise failed to inspire the hometown Coyotes, who lost to the Anaheim Ducks, 2-1.
