OK so we were all so cheerful about all the things we loved about winter here in Amarillo. There were a lot on that list. Let's, though, turn the table a bit. What do we hate?
Putting your child behind the wheel of a car can be a frightening thing, especially for the first time. We just want to wrap them in bubble wrap to keep them safe. However, at some point in time when they turn 16 we have to let them spread their wings and drive. Luckily for us parents that live in Texas, we live in a great state for teen drivers.
Owning a car in Texas comes with certain responsibilities. You have to have a current registration with the state. You have to get it inspected yearly to be able to get that registration, and you have to have a drivers license to be able to drive your car. Simple enough. However, one of those things looks to be going by the wayside.
It's been about a month and a half since I moved here, some things are awesome, some questionable, but mostly I'm feeling at home. Here are a few things I've noticed since moving to Amarillo.
