It was May 2012 when JB and the Moonshine Band's soundcheck cover of Alicia Keys "No One" made its way onto the Texas' boys YouTube channel.
Since, the guys have occasionally added it to their set list, but the OG version happened four years ago this week in Fort Smith, AR, it's our #ThrowBackThursday...
The guys in JB and the Moonshine Band and I go back, like way (in Berman voice) back, back, back, back, back. So I was a little surprised when on my show JB, a father of one and soon to be father of two opened up the naming of his unborn daughter to fans...

JB and the Moonshine Band's new album "Mixtape" is out today. Ahead of its release JB and the boys have been sharing videos from their 100-year-old cabin they purchased
Do you ever get the feeling that you've forgotten something? Your mom's birthday? A doctor's appointment? Basic gun safety rules during a photo shoot? To turn off the iron before you leave the house?
JB Patterson, of JB and the Moonshine Band, is a very detail-oriented person, and has been as long as I've known him. And I'm sure long before we ever met. It may come as a surprise, but, by all accounts, there is a pretty big underground country music scene in Europe. It's so popular, many of our Texas / Red Dirt bands do headlining music festivals every year. Well, today JB and the Moonshine Band have a little bit of a better understanding of this.

Seems like most everyone is bashing country music these days, and there's reason to. I heard some legitimate reasons Why Country Music was Awful in 2013. And while calling people out for singing crappy songs serves a purpose, and may even serve to correct the ship -- you gotta admit, it's hard to argue how bad a song is, when people download it like crack.
