John Atterberry, a 40-year-old music executive who had handled Jessica Simpson and the Spice Girls was shot and killed in an armed rampage by a gunman in Hollywood. Atterberry died last night after succumbing to his wounds.

“This is my second time working with Declan as a director,” Taylor Swift says to start off the second behind-the-scenes webisode of her new ‘Ours’ video. In the first part of the series, Swift briefly introduced the video’s director, Declan Whitebloom, who also directed the video for ‘Mean.’ In this clip, she explains in detail why she’s so comfortable being in cahoots with him.

Kellie Pickler added an extra level of sexy on Thursday night’s ‘CMA Country Christmas’ special, as she took the stage in a strapless red dress that hit the blonde bombshell at her knees with sparkly stiletto heals as she performed ‘Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.’

Oklahoma native Vince Gill recently made a $12,000 donation to the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame to help finish construction on a new children’s music exhibit. Gill was inducted into that Hall of Fame in 1999, and now he’s challenging other musicians and music lovers to follow his lead and donate to the cause.

Tim McGraw is still searching for greener pastures. The iconic country singer is seeking to cut ties with his record label, Curb Records, once and for all, just so he can have the freedom to get new music to his patiently waiting fans. McGraw and Curb will go face to face in court starting Tuesday to hopefully find a resolution.

Country darling Scotty McCreery may have logged a lot of time in LA during his run on ‘American Idol,’ but he still hasn’t been bitten by the acting bug. The reigning ‘Idol’ champ told WSOC radio he didn’t know if he’d “pull a Tim McGraw,” referring to his one-time duet partner and star of movies like ‘The Blind Side’ and ‘Country Strong.’

He may not have a future as a a singer BUT he seems to have some pretty great skills playing that ukulele !  I'll never sing that song the same :)

After a long and successful career, rocker Phil Collins announced his retirement from music on Friday. Collins cited multiple health problems from decades of banging the drums as the reason, including "hearing problems, a dislocated vertebra and nerve damage in his hands" according to "The Telegraph".
