Have you ever wanted to learn a little about what it would take to be a real life cowboy? Your chance is coming up on Saturday, July 22nd!

When you live and grow up in Texas you realize that the life of a Cowboy is a big deal.  It was the cowboy who helped shape this state.  That's why there is a National Day of the Cowboy, it's a day dedicated to honoring the cowboy and the cowboy way of life.

Today come celebrate the great American Cowboy at the American Quarter Horse Hall Of Fame and Museum, 2601 E-I40.  The celebration is free.  Come and ride a real American Quarter Horse, learn how to rope, learn the history of the great American Cowboy and even get your picture taken with Roy Roger's horse, Trigger. Giddy up and get there because the Cowboy rides away at 3pm today. Every kids dream
