A Minor League pitcher remains in jail after he struck a motorcycle with an SUV and fled the scene.

Matt Bush, a minor league pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays remains in jail on a $1,015,000 bond. Bush was driving in teammate Brandon Guyer's Dodge Durango when he struck the motorcycle of 72 year-old Anthony Tufano.

Tufano suffered a brain hemorrhage, broken wrist, broken ribs, broken bones in his back and has a collapsed lung as a result of the crash. On Tuesday Tufano was attached to a respirator and feeding tube, he was put in a medically induced a coma by his doctor's.

Tufano's family is optimistic after he had some anxiety attacks and heart issues this past weekend.

As for Bush, he remains in custody on charges of leaving the scene of the crash with property damage, DUI with property damage, DUI with serious bodily injury, failure to remain at crash involving injury, driving with suspended license and careless driving.

Bush's teammate Guyer has hired a lawyer, he could be charged  if he knew Bush was driving with a suspended license but let him use his SUV anyway.
