On Wednesday the Texas Rangers traded 2nd baseman Ian Kinsler to the Detroit Tigers for 1st baseman Prince Fielder, ESPN reports.

Kinsler's BA was .277, with 13 HR and 72 RBI's during the 2013 season. The trade will guarantee Kinsler a sweet paycheck over the next 4 years, with $62 million guaranteed.

Fielder will get a sweeter check over the next 7 years with $138 million guaranteed. He finished the 2013 season with a .273 BA, 25 HR's and 106 RBI's.
