The Amarillo Public Library to Offer Some Fun Events This Saturday
The Amarillo Public Library has so many great events going on each week. They have events during the week and on the weekend. The great thing about these events is that they are free and open to the public. Here are a few events going on this weekend at a few of the branches.
Did you know that there is a club through the library that offers classes on how to knit. If you have ever wanted to learn to knit and didn't know where to start then you definitely need to check this out.
Yak and Yarn Club- Beginning Knitting
Saturday, April 30th, 3-5:30pm
Southwest Branch Library - 6801 SW 45th
This class is for ages 12 and up. You'll learn how to do basic knitting. You will need some supplies so make sure you have 1 pair of size 12 knitting needles and skein of worsted weight yarn.
El Dia De Los Ninos, El Dia Los Libros
Saturday, April 30th - 3:30pm-5pm
East Branch Library - 2232 E. 27th
This is a day to celebrate children's love of books and reading with stories, crafts, and games. Children of all backgrounds and ages are welcome to take part.
