The highly anticipated first 'Grand Budapest Hotel' trailer has arrived, offering us our first look at director Wes Anderson's star-studded latest, following last year's 'Moonrise Kingdom.'

'The Grand Budapest Hotel' stars Ralph Fiennes, along with the combined talents of F. Murray Abraham, Mathieu Amalric, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum, Jude Law, Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Saoirse Ronan, Jason Schwartzman, Tilda Swinton, Tom Wilkinson and Owen Wilson. 'Murder She Wrote' star Angela Lansbury was attached at one point, as well, with Johnny Depp rumored to be checking in. However, while the latter was soon debunked, the former fell through due to scheduling.

‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ tells of a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars and his friendship with a young employee who becomes his trusted protégé.

The story involves the theft and recovery of a priceless Renaissance painting, the battle for an enormous family fortune and the slow and then sudden upheavals that transformed Europe during the first half of the 20th century.

As the trailer shows, 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' is delightfully Anderson-y, with a sassy Fiennes in the lead mouthing off satisfying lines, like "Let go of my lobby boy!" and a bit on morgue cream. Even more interesting is that the acclaimed director, to complement and help differentiate the three time periods of the story, reportedly shot the film in three different aspect ratios, 1.33, 1.85 and 2.35:1. Gotta love it!

Focus Features released Anderson's 'Moonrise Kingdom' last year to the tune of over $45 million total domestic gross to date; more importantly, it earned itself a spot on our rundown of the best films of 2012. So you can imagine our excitement to see this first footage.

Fox Searchlight only yesterday dated 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' to open its doors on March 7, 2014.
