The Maverick Boys And Girls Club Of Amarillo Celebrating 80 Years With It’s 1st Amazing Race

I remember when I was young I would go to the Maverick Club all the time, me and my friends would hang out all day and enjoy all the fun activites the club offered. Like swimming, art class, basketball, soccer, wrestling, games and much more.

The club is now celebrating its 80th anniversary with the first Amazing Race in Downtown Amarillo on June 14th, 2014. A five mile run composed of 40 teams in 2 scavenger-hunt type races. It seems like a fun time.
