In today's McDaily: Lady Antebellum, Darius Rucker, Martina McBride, Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez, and Randy Jackson will perform during the Muscular Dystrophy Association's Labor Day telethon. This will be the first without Jerry Lewis since 1966, and is being shortened from a 22-hour show to six hours.

Lauren Alaina will release her debut CD, Wildflower, on October 11th. She said, “I have always dreamed of making an album and I can’t believe it’s actually happening."

On Friday, Burger King retired their King mascot, who they had been using since 1955. The chain plans to refocus its marketing on the freshness of its food and not the freakishness of its mascot!
